The 2 words in the online space that drive me up a wall, and how letting them go makes sales SO much easier
There are 2 words I see all the time in the online space that make me crazy and are highly likely to cause me to go on a rant.
Usually, that rant is saved for the privacy of my own office. Or a 1:1 conversation with a client who needs to hear it.
I always tell clients to use the stuff that pisses them off in their content because it’s a great way to get your thought leadership out there, to stand out, and to tell your audience who you really are and how you think.
So, I’m going to take my own advice and share this rant with you!
There may be some ranting moments, but I promise it’s also a super productive conversation full of some really good strategy and mindset advice that will help you make more sales.
The reason these 2 words drive me to drink is because it SOUNDS good:
🤔It sounds like it’s super ethical and authentic (and I truly believe it initially came from this exact good intention)
🤔It sounds like it’ll save you from a slimy sales person.
🤔It sounds like it’s baked in good values and morals.
But these 2 little words actually:
👉 Keep you playing small…but in such a subtle way that you may not even see it
👉 Make sales SO much harder than it needs to be
👉 Put you in an impossible position
👉 Are just the patriarchy playing out in the sneakiest of ways
