Think Differently about social media in this current climate, and stay aligned to your values

My clients and I are having lots of conversations about what it REALLY looks like to run a business that’s aligned with your values. 

Different things come up for different people, and everyone’s doing it differently, but the common thread for almost every client I’ve worked with in the last 1.5 years is reconciling their values with using a social media strategy.

This is not a new topic. Clients have been bringing this to me for as long as I’ve been a Business Coach. But since November 2024, it’s SO much bigger. 

Because it’s really confusing when you’ve been running a purpose-driven business for years, where pretty much everything you do is aligned to your values and feels really good…

…but you just can’t quite reconcile your values with social media…

👉 How certain platform owners have aligned themselves politically and the unethical decisions they’ve made

👉 The amount of content you have to scroll through to find something that’s written by a human and is actually interesting that it feels overwhelming to even try to stand out in today’s climate 

👉 Reconciling legit conflicting realities like “I don’t want to be a part of this” and “social media marketing is how my business runs, grows, scales”
