What my clients are focusing on right now to close more sales

It’s no secret that the market is saturated. It simply takes more to stand out online in 2026, and sales cycles in most industries are longer than they were 2 years ago. 

But people are still buying. Small businesses are still thriving. And my clients and I are still having some of our best years yet. 

Not because we know a secret that you don’t. 

My clients are doing well because they are willing to keep revisiting and refining their business foundations. (even when it’s boring)

They are looking at their data, iterating, testing, and optimizing their marketing, instead of winging it or throwing spaghetti.

They’re staying IN IT, even when it’s hard, or when it would feel much better to just throw together a new offer instead. 

And they are bringing every element of their sales process to our coaching sessions. The follow-ups that feel awkward. The sales calls where they’re not sure where the other person is at. The basics they were “supposed to have nailed as new business owners” that they’d rather not revisit.

The last 2 years have taught us a lot about resilience, change, and what it means to really have solid business foundations. 

Sales skills continue to make or break business success, and I’m seeing a lot of similar themes across my clients in various industries, so I think it’s time to share this with you!
